- This morning, cooking a late breakfast, we discovered my mom's gas stove was running on fumes. My mom called Knysna Gas about four hours ago, but realistically, since it's New Year's Eve, we had low expectations of service today, and tomorrow is a public holiday... However, the lady she spoke to said she'd do everything she could to organise a replacement today. Well, colour me impressed - they've just turned up! Sorted it and went on their way in about three minutes. Thanks for saving NYE supper and the first breakfast of the 2025 for us!
